Wine Dinner – Rozès Porto, Terras do Grifo e Duas Árvores

On 19th October, Cais da Villa hosted another Wine Dinner with a sold-out crowd. The evening was a surprising combination of Chef Daniel Gomes’ creations and the wines of Rozès Porto, Terras do Grifo and Duas Árvores.

We were once again treated to the wines of our producers during the tasting and afterwards at the dinner, where the main objective is always to spread the name of the companies to everyone present.

Prepared by Chef. Daniel Gomes, the menu consisted of several moments. To start the meal, the chef suggested a cod and ham roulade with chestnut cream as a starter. For the meat course, he prepared confit duck leg with orange sauce and turnip cream and crunchy corn polenta. To round off the gastronomic experience in the best possible way, the chef proposed persimmon, hazelnut and chocolate textures.

Guilherme Osório, Sommelier at Cais da Villa, highlights the Wine Dinner as a way of making the space more dynamic and boosting the producers, where the aim of the dinner is for each customer to make their own pairing.

On 9 November, Chef Daniel Gomes aims to present another gastronomic menu to delight all customers, where the aim is for the customer to find their own pairing.
