On October 31st, Cais da Villa was the stage for an evening dedicated to the art of harmony, with a Wine Dinner featuring Quinta do Lamal. In an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, guests embarked on a sensory journey through the flavors of the Douro, guided by the distinctive wines of the Quinta and the creativity of Chef Daniel Gomes.
The dinner was a true celebration of taste and aroma, with a five-course menu designed to highlight the character of each wine. Among the highlights were steamed mussels with Bisaro pork chorizo crumble, confit cod loin with chickpea textures, prawn ravioli with aromatic bisque, and confit Bisaro pork neck with red wine sauce — combinations that reflected the balance between technique, tradition, and pleasure at the table.
The almond, honey, and citrus dessert, paired with Late Harvest White, brought the evening to a close with delicacy and a memorable touch.
More than just a dinner, it was a night of sharing and discovery, where gastronomy and oenology met in perfect harmony.
